Heron Creek Therapeutic Program
Our Heron Creek programs provide therapy, social-emotional support, and communication services as part of a strong educational experience for students. By creating individual support plans based on each student’s specific needs and goals, we help students and their families build the skills they need to move to a less restrictive school setting when they are ready.
Close collaboration with families, school districts, and other service providers ensures supports are coordinated and centered on each child. We encourage and support students, families, staff, and community partners to do their best. By recognizing different learning styles, focusing on transition skills, and offering different diploma options, Heron Creek helps students graduate prepared for life beyond school.

Therapeutic Program
The Heron Creek Therapeutic Program serves K-12 students with a variety of mental health needs and academic abilities who have not succeeded in traditional school settings. Our classrooms offer individualized small-group instruction, as well as therapeutic and behavior support. We also assist many families in accessing other community support.
Skills for Success Program
The Heron Creek Skills for Success Program serves students in grades 1-12 who have a variety of mental health needs and academic abilities. Many of these students experience significant cognitive delays, medical issues and mental health challenges. Each student is assigned an educational assistant and receives individualized small-group instruction in a therapeutic classroom environment.
Heron Creek Alternative Support: Bridge Support
We serve a small number of students from our partner school districts who have not been enrolled in school for some time. We offer bridge services in students’ homes, online or in other settings to help build trust, establish rapport and support the transition to the Heron Creek campus.
Enriching recreation activities
Heron Creek engages in a variety of educational activities during the school day to support student growth and social emotional skills, including field trips, recreational/leisure activities, walking/hiking, and sports activities.
