Honoring our best educators has never been so important. One of the ways we do that in Clackamas County is through the Oregon Teacher of the Year program. Every spring, we select a Regional Teacher of the Year from dozens of nominations. Last year, Ron Antlitz, a special education teacher at Alder Creek Middle School in Milwaukie, was named our 2023 Regional Teacher of the Year, and went on to be a semi-finalist for the state award. Last year, our regional winner, Ethelyn Tumalad of North Clackamas High School, was named Oregon Teacher of the Year. Clearly, we have exceptional teachers in Clackamas County!
