Distance Learning Procedures

At this time, distance training sessions will all be live webinars (synchronous), which means everyone needs to log in at a specific time to receive the training live. In the future we hope to offer self-paced (asynchronous) training.

Training sessions will be delivered through Zoom formats. This will require software to open on your computer or device. Tablets and smartphones are supported with downloadable apps.

The link for weekday trainings will be at least 24 hours in advance of the training.  Multiple people can log on from one computer to participate in the session, however to receive credit you must put the additional people’s names in the chat box when the training starts. All people must still participate in the training activities and also have registered with their own email address. Participants who did not pre-register and submit payment will not receive credit.

Participants will primarily speak using the chat (or question) box features, to limit background noise it is best if attendees are muted.

Audio issues are common when using the software, usually logging out and logging back in fixes the issue.

Certificates are issued via email after all coursework has been verified.
