Are you interested in becoming a substitute in one or more of the ten Clackamas County School Districts?
We can get you started by adding you to the Registry. Clackamas County serves as a central registration point for substitutes in Clackamas County. Registration is good through the expiration of your TSPC license; you do not need to re-register every school year.
To Register (or re-register), click the link below. Choose the right registration type for your circumstances. Please read and follow the instructions carefully! Your registration will be reviewed within ten business days. If it is approved you will be sent proof of registration by email. Provide a copy of that email to the school districts when you apply.
IN A GRACE PERIOD? You can register while your TSPC license is in a posted grace period, and your registration will be good through the grace period. You will need to register your renewed license when it is issued.
Once you are on the registry, you will need to apply to individual school districts to gain employment.
District employees, including substitutes, are required by law to participate in annual training. You need to provide a copy of your training transcript upon application to each school district where you apply; and every subsequent year. Training is not required for registration.
There is a $10 processing and enrollment fee to access training through Clackamas Education Service District. Training is only valid during the school year in which you participated.
We will send you an emailed receipt after receiving your payment. Within seven business days, we will send you a second email with your login/password information to complete the online training.
